Our Mission at Lake Oconee Bistro is to bring the 100 year old building to life with great food, drinks, service and atmosphere. Here at the Lake, we want to be known as a go to casual family restaurant for all occasions. This building, formally known as The Magnolia House, has a tremendous amount of history and we want to continue that tradition.

Lake Oconee Bistro is created by people who love the Lake, passion about good food and a desire for a new local place for all to enjoy. Our team, headed by restaurant veterans Gary Sofen and William Burklo are passionate about using the finest ingredients, making people happy and “Keeping it Local”. The Bistro Team is committed to providing a unique restaurant that is open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner. In addition, we have two private venue spaces, The Magnolia Room and The Sandbar which are available for any and all events.
